WZCC Conclave 23 : Khaadraas Club Dinner at Café Spice Namasté

Café Spice Namasté is one of those not to be missed destination restaurants in London. Owned and operated by our very own Chef Cyrus Todiwala OBE DL and his wife Pervin,  together they will be hosting the WZCC Conclave 23 delegates in this optional evening out. For this evening, Cyrus has created a special "Khaadraas" (more about that later) menu based on Parsee classics that we all know and love.  If you want to know what you will be feasting on then go and have a look at the menu at the link Khaadraas Menu .

If this was not enough to tempt you, then Cyrus and Pervin have arranged for a Gin and Whiskey tasting session which will be included, Gin on arrival and 2 whiskeys with your main meal.

The Khaadraas Club started some ten years ago on the behest of one of our Older Parsee Customers.  His request was to do more Parsee Food on the menu, the suggestion therefore came to do an only Parsee menu once a month.   The Name: Well it was suggested that since we are so good at mocking ourselves as a community, why not call it The Greedy Pigs Club Aka The Khaadraas Club.   Menus: The menus have revolved around childhood favourites and also exploring old often missed cooking that many homes don’t cook Anymore. This gave me lots of opportunities to research and try as I had a group of people ready to try my food.   The Parsee community of UK have not been supporters of the club except a few friends who became regulars, but our other customers have maintained a steady custom to keep it going.  We have of late embarked on other cuisines of India too, so as to Keep the interest flowing.   The Conclave.: getting Parsees from all over the globe has given the opportunity to present a traditional menu which, we hope our delegates will enjoy, so here we go, an all inclusive menu for fun and enjoyment.
